After graduating college debt-free, I founded The Student Navigator to guide students towards funding their education debt-free as well.
The Student Navigator has received multiple award nominations, including myself being a semi-finalist recipient of the 2016 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce.
As an additional guide, I have written my best-selling book Funding College Debt-Free: Your Intreractive Guide Towards Living a Life of Freedom., Passion, and Purpose.
I enjoy speaking at events and most of all, meeting you! From being a keynote speaker, radio guest, workshop presenter, panelist…you name it, I’ve most likely done it!
Serving the community is the heartbeat of who I am, what I do, and why I do what I do every day. I also serve on multiple boards for non-profit and educational organizations.
Months before my high school graduation, I made the tough decision to deny the opportunity to pursue playing college basketball and solely pursue academics instead. Considering the last-minute decision to not play college basketball, plus having a younger sibling graduating high school in two years, I concluded that I would pay for college myself. However, there was one problem—I had no idea how or where to start!
With that goal in mind, I developed a plan of action and funded my freshman year of college debt-free. After achieving that, I established a system for myself that I duplicated each year, resulting in myself graduating college debt-free (in 4 years) without having to take out a loan along the way.
I graduated college Cum Laude from Georgia Gwinnett College with a B.S. in Cell Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology. As a freshman and sophomore in college, I interned with The Neuroscience Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine. My junior year, I interned on behalf of The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) at The University of California San Francisco, where I conducted an independent study.
Experienced at winning scholarships and landing internships, I shared my tips and strategies with my peers in school, and they saw results! So after I graduated college, I founded The Student Navigator to create a larger platform where I could continue to mentor students towards funding their education debt-free, and to help ease the stress and frustration that is commonly associated with paying for a degree and pursuing a career.
I share my story not to impress you, but in hopes that it inspires you to take action towards living a life of freedom, passion, and purpose.
In 2016, I was selected by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce as a semi-finalist recipient for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for my work with The Student Navigator.
I am also the bestselling author of Funding College Debt-Free: Your Interactive Guide Towards Living a Life of Freedom, Passion, and Purpose.
I can’t wait to guide you on this journey!
